An early C19th. Spode porcelain sucrier / sugar box decorated in underglaze blue and gilt with a chinoisserie scene. Dating from c.1810, it measures 6 inches across the hamdles. There is a faint hairline to the base, star cracks to the interior glaze which do not come through, and some wear to the gilding. It displays very well and is useable. |
