C19th chinese Yixing / I Hsing pottery tea pot

A Chinese teapot made from the red clay of the Yixing (I-Hsing) kilns. The clay appears to have a hard but slightly porous quality. It has an integral leaf strainer. The is a floral mark impressed to the base.

Dating from the C19th.,it measures 7 inches from tips of spout and handle.

There is an original extensive firing fault round the base of the spout. This has been filled in the past but now seeps liquid. (Easily restored/filled). It is in otherwise good condition.
