A rare chinese famille rose porcelain sporting subject bowl. It is decorated with chinese figures shooting birds and hawking. One figure firing a gun and another shouldering one. Dating from the 2nd half of the C18th., it measures 7 7/8inches (20 cms) across. There are some small frits to the interior of the rim and some wear to the enamels (particularly the interior) |
