An attractive Chinese silver vase with detachable stand. It is decorated to one side wide 2 chickens with fence and flowers. The other side has a blank (unused) cartouche with dragon-scale border. The wooden base is attached and can be unscrewed.The vase is marked in Chinese characters to the base. Dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it stands over 7 1/2inches (19.2 cms) high inc. stand. There are some shallow dents to the body. |
