A good, antique chinese Yixing pottery tea pot decorated with incised calligraphy to one side and a spray of blossom to the other. There is an indistinct sealmark inside the lid. Dating c. 1900-20, it measures 7 1/4inches (18.4 cms) from tips of spout and handle. There is a chip to the lid (see photos). It is in otherwise good condition. |
