Japanese Koransha Fukagawa Imari porcelain dish plate

A Fine Koransha porcelain square dish decorated in underglaze blue, red, green and yellow enamels and gilt with a scene of Mount Fuji in mist. The Cobalt blue pigment has been blown onto the dish to form the main picture and there are a couple of minor imperfections in this process (original). The back is signed in underglaze blue and in red enamel.

Dating from the 2nd half of the C19th., it measures over 8 1/2inches (22 cms) MAX across.

There is wear to the rim gilding and a miniscule shallow glaze flake to the back of the rim.
