A Japanese teapot / wine ewer cleverly decorated in enamels and resist with chrysanthemum heads on a diaper ground. This is almost certainly by Tanzan and would have been signed inside the lid. Dating from the Meiji period, it stands 5 3/8inches (13.6 cms) high. It has a replacement wooden lid. It is in otherwise good condition. |
