A green staffordshire pearlware pottery reticulated dish moulded with a basketweave pattern. There is an impressed mark to the base IH for Joshua Heath. Dating from c 1790-1800, it measures 9 1/8inches (23.3 cms) long. There is a firing fault and some stilt marks to the rim (all original) and one faint crack to one floret and a miniscule frit to the back of the rim. (Please study photos). This is very good condition for its age and delicacy. |
