A good quality Chinese cloisonne bowl with gilt bronze rims and wires decorated with dragons pursuing a flaming pearl. The base and interior are enamelled in blue. Dating from C.1900-20, it measures 5 1/2inches (14 cms) wide. There is some wear to the gilding on the wires. The interior base is stained where someone used it as a plant holder. |
