A Swansea pearlware pottery plate decorated in underglaze blue transfer and enamels with a flower vase. It has an impressed Swansea , Cambrian pottery mark to the base. (See Goddens mark No. 3763). Dating from 1800-10, it measures 5 11/16inches (14.5 cms) across. It is in very good condition. There are usual areas of faint crazing where the glaze thickens. |
