This is a gorgeous Mexican hinged clamper bracelet by Margot de Taxco, c. 1950s. Known as her "Cornflower" design, this bracelet features a beautifully detailed repousse and chased design with hand beading. The parure toured in the "Maestros de Plata" exhibit and is featured in the companion book, "William Spratling And The Mexican Silver Renaissance", by Penny Morrill, pg. 91. The bracelet is in excellent condition with no damage and a nice tight hinge. It measures 2 1/4" wide at the front, 1" at the hinged back and has an inside circumference of 6 1/2". Weight is 3.5 oz. It is fully signed Margot de Taxco, Sterling Made in Mexico, eagle mark with 16 and design #5316. See my other items for the matching earrings.
