| This is a lovely late Victorian 10k yellow gold brooch set with a faceted amethyst, c. 1900. The stone is bezel set, rich in color and sparkles beautifully. The photos don't capture the color or quality of the amethyst which measures 3/4" x 1/2. The pin measures 1 1/8" x 15/16" and the frame has a very nicely detailed chased design. The pin is in really excellent condition and is marked 10k. | |||||||
