| This is a lovely 14k yellow and white gold ring set with a single diamond (about 20 points), c. 1930s-40s. The ring was made by J. Schnelwar & Sons of New York. The band is yellow gold and the diamond is set in white gold. The setting measures 1/4" x 1/4" and gives the effect of a larger stone. The ring is a size 6 7/8 and could easily be resized. It is in excellent condition and is marked "14k" and "SPM" (Schnelwar's mark). | |||||||
