Aesthetic Figural Sterling Bracelet - FRANK M. WHITING

This is a really wonderful and rare sterling silver bracelet with repousse bug clasp by Frank M. Whiting, c. 1900. Whiting made sterling flatware and finding jewelry by him is very rare. This bracelet has large links which are hollow and constructed of heavy gauge sterling. The clasp features a raised bug and is marked on the back with Whiting's mark and "Sterling". The bracelet is 8" long with an inside circumference of 6 3/4" when closed, 1/2" wide and 1/4" deep. Photos don't do this bracelet justice - it really is a very unusual piece.
