This is a finely carved okimono depicting a farmer ploughing a field with his ox while his son chases a cricket or grasshopper behind him. I particularly like the rope and harness detail on the ox. It is signed Shizuyuki to the underside. A great example of its type. Free worldwide shipping.
This is a quality ivory okimono depicting an artist holding a calligraphy brush in one hand and a large pot in the other.
