| Handsome antique German Berliner wall clock made by the Mauthe Clock Company in Schwenningen, Germany (trademark FMS), circa 1890s. The case is made of lindenwood, mahogany and mahogany burl. The dial is ceramic with fine hand painted scroll accents and arabic numerals. The dial center and pendulum bob are both brass embossed in an art nouveau design. The crown is original. The twin train 8 day movement strikes on the hours and the ½ hours. The movement is signed with the Mauthe Eagle trade mark logo including FMS (Frederich Mauthe, Schwenningen).
