| Own this classic understated elegant, iconic timepiece. One of the first of this epic model, this exceptional, special, rare, 1950s vintage 18K Gold Vacheron Constantin Patrimony wristwatch is a statement of excellence. Since 1755, Vacheron has been one of the finest watchmakers in the world. The Patrimony by Vacheron Constantin was introduced in the 1950s, still the thinnest mechanical watch in the world, at 5.25mm. See photo - the movement is virtually just as thin as the watch band. Chosen as one of 999 outstanding symbols of twentieth-century design, Vacheron demonstrated its unparalleled mastery with this industry stunning model. The 35 mm. diameter case is signed and marked: Vacheron Constantin 18K .750 case # 331140 with cartouches. The signed and marked superlative 17 jewel movement, Vacheron Constantin 458/3B, has been oiled and serviced and runs with impeccable accuracy. Vintage circa 1950s. The serial number on the movement is 501970 (see digital micro photo). This places the date of this special vintage piece firmly in the 1950s, as the production dates of Vacheron Constantin are approximately 500,000 - 550,000 for the years 1950 to 1960. Elegant oyster dial with raised gold roman numeral and chevron hour markers and hands and of course its stylish small second hand in the lower-mid face. Price reduced. Less rare, newer Patrimony “Comps” can be found priced from $13,200 to $18,500. This handsome timepiece is a chance to obtain true defining excellence at a below market price. | ||||||||||||
