| Iconic finely decorated 19th Century Moroccan curved dagger from the central Atlas Mountain region of Morocco displays master artisanship of Moorish, Arabic and Berber cultures. This “Jambiya” knife includes a highly skilled decorated chased scabbard, hilt and the pommel masterfully intertwines detailed metal work with wood base. Rarely, the attached cord is original. According to “Antique Swords and Daggers” book by Dr. Mircea Veleanu, the market price for this piece is $7,000.
