Unusually long finely crafted late 19th Century iron Massai Samboro Elder spear from Southern Kenya. 7ft 10 ½” long, 1 ¾” wide leaf-shaped blade and long shank notched into wooden shaft with long narrow metal butt. Blade length 7 ½”, shank length 26”, butt length 33”. Circa 1890s.
