Fully vetted provenance from the University of North Carolina, this genuine authentic hand carved mahogany antique poster and canopy bed made in the late 1700s came from the Yancy Plantation in Georgia. This piece featuring tobacco leaf and rosette motifs carvings on the posters and grand canopy was made by the plantation slaves over 200 years ago who are proudly recognized for their outstanding quality artistic craftsmanship the world over. It has been certified and appraised by the experts at the non-profit Boush-Tazewell-Waller House, Inc. at $18,500. Dimensions: 93” high X 78” long X 62” wide.
