A finely carved polychrome wooden lintel having an upper crest composed of 16 uraeus serpents, each rearing and wearing a sun disk. Lower register painted with a central sun disk flanked with two cobras and large feathered wings. Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, ca. 712-30 B.C. The piece measures 36 cm in width and is 14 cm high. Professionally mounted on a removable custom stand. Intact with some possible inpainting. Ex. Arteprimitivo Gallery, NYC, 2004.
