It displays a wonderful silvery iridescence as seen in photos of the base in particular. The piece is large and heavy at 14 inches in height. The piece was tested in 2004 by Oxford Authentication, LTD services in England. They are known as the premier testing lab for thermoluminescence analysis, which is conclusive for the dating of ancient ceramics.
