| Beautiful, finely carved, Egyptian Pectoral Scarab, dating from the Late Period, ca. 712-332 B.C. Crafted in fine limestone. Originally blue in color, with traces of the blue pigment remaining. Six holes around the perimeter are placed for attachment to the mummies linen. Includes a museum grade display mount. A large example at 4.8 cm. Ex- Private California Collection. | ||
