|This vase is an beautiful example of cameo glass produced in the late eighteen hundreds by the English firm of Stevens and Williams. It is the type of glass that Frederick Carder produced when he worked at this firm before coming to America and running Steuben. Depicting a flower decoration in Pink Rosaline on an Alabaster base sitting atop a crystal foot this vase is very eye catching. Measuring 3 5/8 in. Tall by 2 1/2 in. in Diameter this vase is in excellent condition. Fire polished rim and semi polished pontil. Overall, a rare example of acid cut back cameo glass by on of the best glass houses of the period.|
