| This Yixing mythical animal is in superb condition. I purchased it in Hong Kong in the mid-1980s and have kept it in a good environment since. It is signed by one Zhong Mei. As shown, the head can be removed from the body. K.S. Lo of Hong Kong put Yixing back on the map in the 1980s; he wrote books about Yixing ware; other writers in China have written about it in Chinese. In mid-May someone asked me where I purchased it. I opened it and the original receipt from Hong Kong is inside. That dealer then and still is a very reputable one. This is a superb Yixing item. The body is 1 cm long, and 6 cm high; the head is 6 cm high and 6 cm long. | ||||||||||||
