| This is a miniature altar table, modeled on a larger one. This one may have been used to display inkstones, we may use it to display toggles. It is graceful and elegant, with a fine patina. It has a few marks left by cups or small brushpots over the years. and one possibly hairline crack visible on the bop. These minor defects cannot be removed by us in Beijing: that would kill the patina. | |||||||||||||
