| This is a very beautifully carved pomander. I have owned it for years. it has a small area where a repair was made many years ago. It can also be hung as a toggle, or not. The top separates from the body, so fragrant spices or the like can be put into the bottom half. Exquisite reticulated carving, probably done in an ivory factory in Guangzhou, in the southern province of Guangdong. | ||||||
