| An incredible piece of rare art by the renowned French artist Joseph Emmanuel Descomps (1869-1950). TITLE: "Libellule" (The Dragon Fly). DIMENSIONS: Visible image is 7 x 5-1/2 inches. Excellent condition - no damage! Medium/Materials: Wax relief on wood. This piece was exhibited at the Palais De Glace at the Champ-Elysees from April to June, 1912 (exhibition no. 211), and is believed to have belonged to the Russian Imperial family at one time. Also shows a Russian collection stamp, the title of the work, and the person to whom it belongs, Madame Alexandria. | ||
