| Large carrying basket with very, very fine threadlike strips with cordlike rattan binding around. Wide woven dyed rattan diamond design trim around the top, bottom and both square carrying handles. Strips of polished bamboo made up the bottom and slim tubes of bamboo comprise the feet. This kind of workmanship is hard to come by and few artisans of this caliber can be found. Delicate as this looks, it's sturdy enough to carry flowers and such. Much care was given to this extraordinary and beautiful work of art.
