| Basket for Ikebana, the art of flower arrangement Constructed of bamboo, unusual size and shape. Two shades of bamboo, plaited diagonal weave, double sturdy woven rim, whole strip of bamboo with node serves as feet reinforcing the bottom part of the basket. Could be used as an umbrella stand but does not have a metal lining at the bottom. Very beautiful patina and very good condition, no losses. Japanese, Taisho period. 24" high x 12" diameter | ||
