A Chinese jade vessel, "jue"of archaic style dating to the Ming period.It is raised on a short foot, has a stylized chilong head to the thumb rest, its handle is formed from crossed tails and the sides are carved with scroll decoration. The stone is of darkish celadon with shots of russet. condition: excellent, no breaks, no restoration. size: 4 1/2 inches x 2 inches x 2 inches high. ( 11 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm high )
