A finely painted and gilt pair of Japanese lacquer ware dishes, on black ground and decorated in iro-e-togidashi, togidashi maki-e and kirigane maki-e of shikishi moyou ; the three asymetrically-positioned panels depict a landscape with bridge, buildings in the field and birds.
Age: late Meiji(1868-1912).
Size : 7 1/2in. (18.8cm) diameter.
Condition: excellent. no chips, no restoration.
