| A Chinese nephrite jade of good translucency, carved in an irregular square shape in basse relief with a writhing dragon on one side and a charming phoenix on the reverse. The darker hue of the natural stone has been cleverly exploited to form a frame-like border.Untreated, natural stone, this is an unusual and appealing carving. size: 2 5/16 inches(6cm) X 2 7/16inches (6.1cm) and 0.8cm thickness. age: second half of 20C. condition: excellent, no damage, no restoration. | |||||||
