| A 19 C. Chinese ivory tusk carving, carved in high relief with a continuous scene, showing on one side Immortals playing weiqi in a pavilion with their attendants present. The reverse shows a flue playing boy riding a buffalo, a warrior and his horse in front of a fenced enclosure, a pagoda in the background.On fitted wood stand. Age: 19th. C. size: 7 5/8inches (19.5cm) height of the carving WITHOUT the wood base. 4 1/2inches( 11.5cm) diameter of the tusk at its widest.condition: very good indeed, only tiny age lines at the rim.
