| A Chinese fan with banners painted and embellished in the " 1000 faces" style with full length large figures at leisure in pavilions. The sticks are gilt lacquer. The back of the fan has an unusual picture of beautifully painted exotic birds and flowers in vibrant colours. age: C. 18870. size: 10 1/5 inches (27cm) long. condition: very good, some expected general wear and a slight lifting of the paper on the third fold from left ( see image 5).
