| A Chinese ivory brise fan, carved on both sides in Canton with overall scenes of figures and flora. The sticks measure 9" (23cm) long which is larger than usual.Age: C. 1870. condition : very good, only a couple of struts on the background brise work are missing and three of the sticks have slight unevenness. Like most ans of this age, due to frequent opening and closing, the silk ribbon has been replaced some time in the past. We can obtain CITES Export Licence, if necessary(2/3 weeks). | |||||||||||||||
