A heroic-sized head is depicted, playing the harmonica. other figures behind, a pair of high-button shoes in the foreground. Provenance is Hammer Galleries, Inc., New York and Sidney Deutsch, New York. The work was exhibited in the Gallery of Modern Art, New York, "Philip Evergood Retrospective", 1969, no. 122. This show catalogue plus original Parke Bernet Galleries invoice are available to the buyer.
