A Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Vase with Fu Lu Shou figures symbolising good fortune, prosperity and longevity; Wen Caishen (Wealth God in Scholarly Attribute) and Wu Caishen (Wealth God in Martial Attribute); 8 Immortals; HeHe Erxian (God of Peace and Harmony) ; Kui-Xing (God of Examinations); Liu Hai with his three-legged toad (God of Wealth and Prosperity); Wang Mu Niang Niang (Goddess who is the Keeper of the Peaches of Immortality). This vase has a lion ring mask on its two sides and many peaches all round. The whole theme of the vase is about longevity, wealth and good fortune to be bestowed on the possessor or as gift to another. Period: circa 18th/19th Century. Height: 54cm.
