A Piece of Railway History
This is a dining car seat from the original Siam Express.
Eventually this train connected Singapore, Malaya (Malaysia) through Siam and to the River Kwai ,or more correctly Khwae Noi, and the Burmese Border beginning during the time of British colonization in South East Asia and India.
Made of golden teak. The patina is awesome.
Provenance: Purchased at auction, State Railways of Thailand.
