Circa 2nd half 19th century.
Constructed of solid hardwood. Forged iron studs around front and rear borders.
Forged iron saddle hooks for hanging items at the sides, decorative pieces at front in the form of peony blossoms (Nobility, rank, higher social status and good fortune ) and forged iron supports at both front and back.
Wood is covered in heavy black lacquer.
No damage or missing hardware.
