The figure holds a small silver cup in each hand symbolic to receive blessings from Quan Yin, (Guanyin) the goddess of mercy and the Goddess of fecundity. She is surnamed Sung-Tzu-Niang-Niang, "lady who brings children."
The chain is adorned with silver bells, coral and turquoise.
