The Elephant has been intricate to the work of Jakraphan Chaijit for over 20 years.
This work is from his ambitious series expressing his worship of Ganesh and The Buddha, while capturing principles of peace and harmony on earth while capturing the gentleness of the most intelligent and powerful animals on earth.
The relationship the people of Indo-China and Thailand have towards elephants is a deeply spiritual one where
elephants develop strong, magical , and sometimes lifelong relationships with humans especially their keepers.
Ganesha is the remover of obstacles, the patron of learning, letters , the arts and is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in the Hindu Pantheon . Hindus worship him regardless of affiliations and devotion to him is widely diffused and extends to Buddhist across South East Asia.
