| During our recent buying trips to China, we have discovered an unusual style of stone carvings. Using intriguing hard stones, these stone sculptures do not resemble anything we've seen in the past, and bear an eerie similarity to HongShan Cultural artifacts, dating 4500 years ago. Though these sculptures are of more recent production, nonetheless its originality and creativity make them one of a kind collectible items. Shanxi province is known for its hongshan culture influence and is a heaven for those who thrive on true antiquing experience that may involve a rough ride to the market and ruthless bargaining. We had the pleasure to bring back some unusual stone carvings from our recent expedition. This is a stone carving of a mystical creature that is half human and half cat like.
