This Cultural Revolution block print portrays Lin Biao holding Mao's red book, titled "Raise Mao's Theory Highly and Raise the Greatest Red Flag", this poster's background is painted with a People's Liberation Army soldier pushing a startled horse off the rail road in an attempt to save the train from crashing. In small prints, it says "Serve the People, In memory of Bai Qiu En, Yu Gong can move the Mountain". Bai Qiu En is Dr. Norman Bethune, a Canadian revolutionary martyr. He was in China during the Sino-Japan War and was saving people. " Yu Gong moves the Mountain", a Chinese proverb describing everything, no matter how hard it is, can be accomplished if one does it step by step. Size: 31.25” long by 22.75” wide.
