Titled "Night March in the Steppe", this poster originates from a story that talked about an event took place during the Long March, where the communist was in retreat. In the story, a younger red army soldier got stuck in a muddy steppe, and an older solider saved his life by sacrificing his own. The worst condition the red army ever experienced during the long march was the steppes they had to cross from the northern part of Su chuan province to reach YanAn. This poster was developed by Qi Da Hu and Jiang Guo Xin for Shanghai elementary students and published by Shanghai Education Publishing House. Size: 30” by 21”.
