Called "Nian Hua", or Chinese New Year posters, these Chinese chubby baby posters exudes happiness and strength, coupled with good luck words, symbols and motifs, it express a traditional ideals of prosperity, happiness, longevity, and unity. This poster consists of two chubby babies each holding a sign, one says “Happiness”, and the other says “Prosperity”, other motifs employed included flowers and peaches, and other good luck symbols. The poster is titled "Happiness and Prosperity are abundant”, created by Li Shi Yuan, published by TianJin YanLiu Publishing House, printed by Beijing #2 Jiao Yin Printing Company, and distributed by Tianjin XinHua bookstore in August 1988. The price was 18 cents. Size: 30” by 21”.
