Cultural Revolution Poster - The Revolution Commanders
This rare poster features the Revolution Commender office's main characters: This poster features Mao, Lin Biao, Jiang Qing (Madam Mao), Kang Sheng, Chen Bo Da, and Zhou En Lai. The poster consists of a picture cut out of these people on the top of Tiananmen square, interviewing the Revolution Army. Each person played an integral part during the Cultural Revolution and many were later considered traitors by Mao and others were sentences to prison after the end of the Cultural Revolution. The only survivors that went through Cultural Revolution not blamed by the people of China in this poster were Mao himself and the beloved first Prime Minister Zhou En Lai. Titled "Celebrating 18th Anniversary of the People's Republic of China", this poster A number of participants were involved in creating this poster such as Shanghai People's Art Publishing House, Revolution Committee, Capital City Central Worker and Farmer Art School, Shanghai #58 Middle School The East is Red Village. A bona fide product of Cultural Revolution's "Zao Fan Pai" (those who revolt against the old norm, essentially all of red guards is "Zan Fan Pai".
