This propaganda poster depicts a scene from the Korean War. In this poster, it features a Chinese PLA soldier who wore the tag that said “Chinese People’s Volunteer Army”, referring to soldiers who were sent to fight with the North Koreans against South Koreans and American army. Created by People’s Liberation Army Chief of Staff Political Department, this poster originated from an oil painting by Dai Qing Lu and Wang Zhen Jia. As evidenced by the writing on the right hand side, this poster was created in June, 1973. Sizes: 17” by 30”.
