Cast Iron Gilt Buddha's hand. A great display piece with great patina. The Buddha's hand is in the Jnana Mudra, gesture of teaching. In this gesture, the tips of the index and the thumb are joined and held near the center of the chest with the palm turned inward. This is often associated with the characteristic mudra of Manjushree. 10" L x 3" W x 3" D. Enlargement 1 and catalog photo shows the hand in upright position, which is a mounted version of the hand. This cast iron buddha's hand comes unmounted. Please note that the base is not included in this item.
