This "Learn from Lei Feng" plastic covered notebook was a reward given to a person by the name of Ding Zhi Chang for being "Five Good" in 1963. The notebook contains photos of LeiFeng. An official story was given about Lei Feng's background which conflicts with what is now a popular story of Lei Feng's true background. Still not officially the start of Cultural Revolution, this notebook belonged to a CCP member who wrote in details of different people's problems, mainly those targets who later on became victims of the class struggles or internal enemies. These few pages of detailed and confidental notes showed the people this original owner of the dairy had problems with and what he thought of the crimes of these people committed, mainly he listed the things these people did and the thoughts these people allergedly were having. The diary notebook was printed in December 1963 though the notes taken in this book elapses nearly ten years. It's also an excellent Lei Feng artifact given the range of the photos and the official stories it contained of Lei Feng in this note book. Quite a few black and white photos of Lei Feng and the stories of him are not shown here. Good condition.
